All Hands Meeting – December 2019

Last week was the first all-hands meeting of 2020. Held on January 8, 2020, it’s was a fun and interesting event for our Instarama family. Ranging from managers to junior interns, all came together to discuss our report card for the December month and plan our roadmap for the upcoming year.

Marketing and Sales Accomplishments

Inclusively, it was a decent month on both the marketing and sales fronts. We could have done better on some projects. Nevertheless, we learned a few things, which definitely will help us to excel better in the upcoming events.

Adent:

Overall, there was a 0.9% dip in the inclusive traffic as compared to the same during the previous month. It’s mainly because of a slight variation in the referral and Quora sources. Thanks to a significant improvement in the Direct Traffic and Social-media Sources, we could have lost much more than 0.9%. Considering it was the holiday season, even a slight dip in the traffic means thousands of dollars lost. Yet, Adent is driving over 73% of the traffic from direct sources, which means the brand name is gradually becoming popular among adult industry entrepreneurs.

We could see a significant improvement in the number of valid sign-ups, which indicates that Adent received some high-quality traffic. Nevertheless, it was a well-brought-up month in terms of sales, yet we could see a slight impact of the dip in traffic on the sales figures. The sales figures remained on the borderline of the target values, which mean we achieved the targets, but it was not easy. Nonetheless, Adent remained one of the best performing projects, both on sales and marketing fronts. 

ShopyGen:

Shopygen too faced a 0.92% dip in the overall traffic, but luckily, we were able to curb the bounce rates by more than 4%, which helped us achieve some good sales figures. Although, ShopyGen faced a slight drop from all the sources, except referral, the team’s efforts in driving quality traffic helped the sales team funnel-in some quality leads. We could maintain a stable in-flow of valid sign-ups, which revealed some new prospects in unexplored markets like Nigeria.

Both pre-sales and post-sales teams did an excellent job of cashing-in the leads. We could achieve our best sales figures for the past 3-4 months. The holiday sale, where we offered a flat 50% OFF, went pretty well. We not only sold a significant amount of base products but also closed some good customization deals. ShopyGen is gradually moving towards stability, and we hope the eCommerce solutions brand will soon set some new milestones.

StreamHash:

As one of our top-performing projects, StreamHash has been able to maintain a stable flow of revenue for the past few months. There was a significant improvement of 10% in terms of overall traffic. Excluding a slight dip of 0.8% on the referral front, the team was able to boost the combined traffic coming from most of the targeted sources. We have also been running Display Ads for our Holiday Sales. We saw a significant improvement in the number of sales through this channel as well. Although it wasn’t a month for customizations, we sold some good amount of base products, which maintained a balance in the revenue stream. The Netflix clone, StreamView, was one of the most soled base products. 

Feedback and Improvements

The QA team is on the constant move to collect feedback and improve the quality of all our products. Besides, the team does regular testing of the products in live and development environments. This month, we have been working on the improvements in most of Adent’s and StreamHash products. Products such as Gentask, xFans, and GenX were the highlights of this month’s QA.

Targets

As we enter into a new year, we have made big plans to boost not our sales and marketing but also the internal operations. We have some big projects in the pipeline. Beside regular team building activities, the HR department is planning a few big events to celebrate our Anniversary and Pongal festival. 

Star Performer of Month: Sriram B

For a long time, Adent has been one of our fastest-growing projects. However, this month, it was ShopyGen, which created new milestones. Despite being a new product in a highly competitive arena of eCommerce business solutions, ShopyGen’s performance during the past few months is inspirational.

All credit goes to the sales and marketing teams of ShopyGen. Sriram, who has been handling the sales department, is undoubtedly the best-deserved contestant for this month’s recognition. It was a close competition between Sriram and two others from the team, but Sriram’s brilliant project management skills made sure that his contributions don’t go unrewarded. Well done Sriram, you have done a great job. You deserve the title of “Best performer of the month”.

Instarama All Hands Meeting – November

The one-way broadcast from powers is a bad way to manage a business. Executives talking from the stage while the audience listens to them dutifully are not all-hands meetings at all. What we care about is a chance for everyone from interns to executives, team-leads, managers, and senior managers to ask questions, raise concerns, and display enthusiastic participation. Our monthly all-hands meeting aims to connect those who work in different teams and make them feel linked to the company on a broader and professional level.

Following the same tradition, we conducted our November’s all-hands meet to bring the entire organization together and share updates on all fronts, raise queries, and know how everyone is contributing to the growth of the business.

People Management:

We value our people and their contribution. Our HR department helps us to undertake the very same thing. The team has been working constantly to only make working at Instarama fun but also acquire the best new talents. Thanks to the team, we have been able to conduct some successful fun and team building activities during the festive season, and it continues. From office space administration, grievance management, daily needs, and talent acquisitions to binding every one of us together, the efforts from the HR department are worth cherishing.

Marketing and Sales Accomplishment

Overall, it has been a precious month in terms of marketing and sales. As we moved in the festive season, every team gave their best to bag-in the greatest values; we could see the results in their analytics.

Adent:

Adent is gradually working its way towards stability, and we are seeing our ROIs clearer now. Our adult business solutions brand, Adent, had hardly disappointed us ever during the past year. As we move into a new year, with new resolutions, and new goals, Adent is all set to make an impact among the top-performing brands in the adult B2B market.

Breaking all the previous records, we achieved some new milestones in terms of digital marketing and SEO. The traffic volume was at its best, and it is still the beginning of the holiday season. Thanks to the marketing team, none of the valuable sources such as direct, referral, paid search, or social disappointed us. We are continually uplifting the brand’s popularity, as we can see it in the traffic from target markets like the USA, UK, Canada, and Australia. 

The strategies from the marketing team helped the sales team identify qualified leads, which they were able to convert instantly. Overall, it has been a great a month for Adent with efforts from both the marketing and sales team reflecting clearly on the sales figures. Well, 79% of organic traffic is a good sign. We hope the positive development will continue in the mid-festive season as well, and we will be able to discover even wider prospects.  

ShopyGen:

The eCommerce solutions brand has been one of the top assets in our arsenal. Despite it’s new as compared with our Adent-brand, ShopyGen has been able to not only sustain a rigorously competitive market but also achieve significant milestones. That’s why we always give an extra focus on the presentations from the ShopyGen marketing team so other teams can take some inspirations on how to crack a rough market.

Despite some bumps in the traffic, the sales team was able to convert most of the leads. Looking at the stats, we could easily say, the efforts to acquire quality traffic has been paying off. The marketing team explained how they have focused more quality traffic and diminishing the bounce rates, by narrowing down the target areas. Despite facing a 2% decrease in the overall traffic, ShopyGen was able to bag almost 2X sales as compared to the previous month. The efforts on the following fronts paid off.

The combined efforts from sales and marketing teams did not only help us achieve our targets but also come back with double force after facing some bumps in the previous month. Well done team ShopyGen! 

StreamHash:

With a 10% increase in organic traffic and a 6% boost in traffic from Social media sources, StreamHash displayed a refined performance in November. The video streaming market is a very competitive arena to crack; we are dealing with the giants in the market. Nevertheless, we know our StreamHash marketing team for dealing with much tougher situations. 

They acquired not just the target traffic figures but also some quality leads from the target markets such as the USA, India, and Canada. The team also acknowledged the 3% loss in traffic from Quora sources, which is not much considering the improvements on other fronts. However, they have already begun with their plans to improve on this front too. They explained how they are going to do that, and it was an impressive workflow. Additionally, the team has placed its bets on Organic traffic and holiday sales for the coming month. We hope that improvements will endure, and we will uncover some unexplored prospects for the festive season.

No meeting is complete without feedback. Every team gave a few minutes to Q&A sessions after the presentation. They answered the queries coming across from all the teams. It was a sustaining view where every member participated with full enthusiasm and realized the opportunity not only to raise their concerns but also to put forward some suggestions too.

The feedback from the QA team was a highlight where they came up with numerous new propositions to perfect our solutions. The team blended their recommendations with some tickets from our esteemed customers, which have helped us to identify and fix some tricky bugs in some of our major scripts. Thanks to our QA team, our valued clients who gave up the heads-up and the development team who fixed the identified issues in no time.

Targets

Apart from individual targets from the teams, the overall organizational target is to extend our reaches to various uncharted markets too. This holiday season is an opportunity for us to establish ourselves. That’s why we have already launched our holiday sales campaign, which has been a hit as of now. As the season is on its peak, we are optimistic that more and more businesses will join the league with us.

Besides, we are also working on various B2B collaborations with major web-hosting providers, CDN providers, payment solutions providers, content creators, and many more. We hope that Instarama will soon become a hub for not only cutting- edge tech solutions but also various B2B services. We aim to offer all-round assistance at a central location to all of our clients and aspiring entrepreneurs.

Star Performer of Month: Tanmay

Everyone did his or her job well. It’s a difficult task to choose the best from the bests. However, Tanmay earned the recognition, and there is only one word to describe his performance – Outstanding.

He has been handling the marketing responsibilities for Adent for a long time, and we have never been disappointed in him. The All Hands Meeting model has always helped us to work in an open work culture that’s long been part of the identity of us holding a free discussion. The culture of transparency has been emblematic for the company’s acknowledged belief in corporate culture. It gives all the employees a chance to talk and discuss strategies and plans for the upcoming months. We discuss everything about our efforts and try to improve them gradually. We’ve substantially improved our core things in the organization. Thanks to the HR Department! And yes, we’ve also made an incredible breakthrough in recruitment activities that will give us again a team spirit. Both the employee management and asset management show milestones how our scale allows driving significant improvements. It represents the core values to cherish among our employees.

The fun activities inside the office space have become a positive evolution for us. When we know the people in the workplace understand their context with the entertaining atmosphere, we can have more substantive and richer output. We’re going to keep this spirit up and make more innovative appearances.

As Adent is already among the top-performing brands, the marketing team is giving its complete efforts to make it a remarkable product.

Adent experienced a substantial improvement in terms of direct, referral, Quora, Paid search, and Social traffic. As a massive recital on the marketing front, the brand can maintain steadily improving the stream of revenue continuously from the targeted countries like the USA, UK, India, and many more.

The essential marketing strategies helped the sales team to highlight the ROI of the product and strengthening the values for our customers. These key marketing efforts reflect in the sales funnel as well. We saw the direct impact on the sales revenue. The sales team also saw positive developments in the sales figures of all the base and customized products.

  • ShopyGen:

ShopyGen, an e-commerce solution is one of our biggest assets in terms of marketing competition across all marketing channels and marketed countries. As a stable performing product, ShopyGen always continued to manage with key marketing strategies. The set of goals by the team is helping the product to grow better in the market.

The referral, Quora, direct, and social traffics continued to manage a stable scale in October. The marketing team is continually working to provide strengths to it with better marketing efforts. The sales team also reported new achievements in terms of sales from the base as well as customized products.

  • StreamHash:

StreamHash has experienced enormous progress in terms of performance in the last month. The major shares of traffic increased by 8% and 9% respectively in Direct and Referral sources. The Quora, direct, and social media traffic also provided strengths to maintain better efforts.

In terms of sales accomplishments, we noticed a sensible figure in October. Thanks to the whole Sales Team! The coordination between the team members excelled as positive figures in both the base and customized product sales could be noticed easily.

  • StartupWhale:

As a blogging platform, StartupWhale is significantly growing with the staturpreneurs and content curators to publish quality content on the website. It provides a one-stop solution for startup owners to keep up a huge pace.

It is one of our most ambitious projects and we are constantly working to grow it with the latest marketing drifts. We aim to grow this website as a source of information for businesses where everyone can get benefits from experienced professionals and entrepreneurs. Hopefully, we can see the improvements and more engagement stats in the upcoming months.

  • RentCubo:

The sharing and renting of solutions are highly competitive in the present market arena. Rentcubo, as our latest addition, which covers everything to start and scale up a new business in terms of vacation rental, co-working, self-storage, or car parking management.

While it’s still an infant, the client project is gradually attracting attention from many entrepreneurs. We could see an overall improvement of traffics from Organic, Direct, Quora, and other channels as well. The product shows a promising future and hopefully, it will become a big success factor for us soon.

Feedback and Improvements:

The All-hands meeting is incomplete without the Q&A section. It is a great opportunity to know what’s going in each product. Thus, Q&As have become one of the cornerstones of creating a culture of transparency among us.

We aim to offer bug-free solutions where the Q&A team acts as a catalyst in the cause. And apparently, the team has been working so hard to fix all bugs and improve the features as per our client’s requirements. The customer feedback and the inputs from our QA team had made it possible for us to stand apart in the market.

We usually evaluate successful event collaborations of the past month and look at what’s coming next in the All Hands Meeting. After we set the atmosphere for the meeting, we come to know the updates on our business priorities, goals, and other areas like sales and net retention for the last month.

It has also seen positive developments in the base and customized product sales. The marketing strategies and planning is helping the sales team to highlight the ROI of the product and thus reinforcing the value to our customers.

  • ShopyGen:

As one of the top-performing products, Shopygen has managed to continue with the success factor, thanks to the hard work and efficient marketing strategies the team. The previously set goals have helped the product to come with stability in the market.

Despite some decline in traffic from multiple sources, Shopygen achieved a noteworthy improvement in terms of sales. The efforts of the post-sales team paid, and we got most of our sales this month on customized products. We hope to improve the sales funnel in terms of base product sales. Optimistically, the marketing team will give their best to improve on the traffic sources as well.

  • StreamHash:

Streamhash has experienced immense progress in marketing with critical success factors. The major shares of the traffic were held by organic and referral sources, which has increased by 5% and 40% respectively.

The social media, direct, and Quora traffic provided strengths to maintain better efforts. However, we noticed a moderate sales figure in September for streamhash. We are optimistic and have confidence in our sales and marketing team. We will excel and undoubtedly recover the positive figures both in terms of base and customized product sales.

  • PinLearn:

PinLearn is steering to a furthermost level in the competitive e-learning market. Despite ongoing product developments, the marketing team is continuing with efforts and strategies to get better traffic and brand awareness.

There is no doubt that Pinlearn is one of the most cutting-edge solutions from Instarama. Despite being in the beginning phase, it’s already attracting entrepreneurs from around the globe in a highly competitive e-learning arena. It will see a massive improvement in the future once we are done with some major upgradation to it.

  • PushMaze:

Pushmaze progressively becomes stable in the market with new techniques and marketing efforts. The organic, direct, referral and social traffic are considerably going good in PushMaze. We are also working with the latest push marketing trends for the upgradation of the product.

His dedication, punctuality, and taking ownership of projects made him the best performer of the month. His professional approach towards his daily task is truly praiseworthy. His efforts and contributions to numerous projects are crucial for the organization.

All hands Meeting – August 2019

When we gather together for the all-hands meeting, we keep things simple. We discuss everything about where the company is headed and analyze our efforts to improve day after day. Last week, we used the opportunity to discuss a variety of affairs worth exploring. This month’s All-hands meet was not just about exploring organizational growth, but we also took the opportunity to announce some significant changes in the company’s policies, which would make working with Instarama a fun experience for employees.

We believe professional growth, but our valued employees also get a work-life balance. That’s where the company’s new leave policy aims at. Here is a glance of the all-hands meeting held on September 12, 2019-

People Management

A company is a composition of every unique talent it nurtures. We not only follow this approach for our current work-force but also while accruing the new talents for the company. Working in this direction, the HR department closed significant positions and acquired talents in both the Marketing and Sales departments. We made collaborations with various consultancies, colleges, and universities. Hopefully, we will be able to close various other positions in the upcoming months as well.

Marketing and Sales Accomplishments

It was the time to analyze the stats and craft a roadmap for the upcoming month. The previous month was a combination of ups and downs. While acknowledging the efforts of the team, we also took the opportunity to learn from the mistakes.

Adent

As usual, Adent was one of our top-performing brands. Thanks to the marketing team, our adult industry business solutions have not only been able to beat the competition but also generate significant sales revenue. Overall, it was a stable recital on the marketing front. We were able to acquire over 50% of the organic traffic from all the targeted markets such as the US and UK. More than 25% of the traffic was from direct sources, which suggests a substantial advancement in brand awareness campaigns. The improvement in the marketing front paid off. The brand was able to maintain a steadily improving stream of revenue continuously for the third month.

ShopyGen

ShopyGen too was a mixed experience but with so many learning curves. While the overall, traffic saw a mild decline, the brand was also able to secure better engagement stats. In short, despite less traffic as compared to the previous month, we were able to check the bounce rates and also get more valid sign-ups. The efforts from the content marketing team, social media marketing, and affiliates paid-off as the referrals traffic saw a noteworthy improvement. The effects of the improved engagement could be easily noticed on the sales figures. After a deep dive in the month before, the sales figures were finally better than the target figures. We hope to improve further as we work on excelling on the marketing front as well this month.

StreamHash

StreamHash was a success story on the marketing front. We could easily notice a positive growth in the overall traffic. As expected, the major shares of the traffic were held by organic and direct sources, which is a good sign. The traffic from referrals and Quora were also significant, which indicates the grown-up brand awareness and people suggesting our eCommerce solutions in their content. To power-up efforts, we also launched multiple email campaigns. As a result, the sales figures were recorded at their highest point in the past 3-4 months. The overall figure was a balanced distribution of sales from the base products as well as several new customizations were closed.

PinLearn

The market for eLearning solutions is a highly competitive arena. Pinlearn is one of our latest additions, which covers everything required to start an online learning business. While it’s still an infant, the product is slowly attracting attention from the entrepreneurs. We could see an overall improvement of over 24% in the traffic from organic, direct, Quora, and top eLearning websites. The product shows a promising future and hopefully, it will be a big success once we are done with some major upgrades we have been working on for the past couple of months.

PushMaze

Being the only self-hosted and open-source push notification tool in the market, PushMaze is one of our most ambitious projects. We have been working day and night to polish the product based on the latest push marketing trends. We are working on a major upgrade, which would hopefully be a major breakthrough for the project. The marketing aimed at generating brand awareness has been going quite well. For now, we have been relying on content and social media marketing, and consequently, there has been an increase of 48% in the traffic from social media as well.

StartupWhale

We have only recently started working full-time on our ambitious blog for entrepreneurs, and it’s already doing well. We have been receiving contributions from several entrepreneurs, content creators, and small businesses.  We are working continuously on loading the platform with quality content and a dedicated team is taking care of all the administration, editing, and marketing efforts. We aim to develop this blog into a reliable source of information for businesses, where everyone can benefit from the insights of the experienced professionals. The traffic is continually improving and previous month recorded the highest engagement stats so far.

Software solutions are all about continuous improvements. We aim to offer bug-free and perfect business solutions and that’s where the feedback from QA team acts as a major support in the cause. The team has been working hard to fix all the bugs and add new features as per the feedback from our current and previous clientele. Working in the same direction the team completed QA, bug fixes, and feature enhancements of the products such as xStreamer V4, xAggregate V3, StreamTube, StreamView, and LiveLearn. Some of the products in the QA’s pipeline for the upcoming months are xScorts, StreamNow, xTalk, and Pushmaze.

Tatwick is one of the finest talents acquired by our HR department for the team. His contributions are spread across every product and project we work on. He has been working with us for the past couple of months and has proven to be a valuable asset for the organization. His impeccable graphic designs were delivered exceptionally in tight schedules, which helped us achieve our targets without missing the deadlines. He was unquestionably an ideal contender for the performer of the month award. Congratulations Tatwick, you have rightfully earned this recognition. Keep it up.   

All Hands Meeting – July 2019

An all-hands meeting is more than a formal gathering with a lot of other things on the desk. It’s an opportunity to ponder about overall development of the employees and appreciate their contributions towards the organization.

At Instarama, we strongly believe that happiness and growth of employees have a direct impact on how we function, and it helps us to determine where we stand in our journey. Staying transparent is the motto of our All-Hands Meetings.

We could see the enthusiasm and energy on each of our employee’s faces. One more month of hard work and commitment was achieved, and it was the time to analyze our efforts. We are determined to take lessons from the past and prepare a much better trail for the upcoming month.

It was a time to go over the key metrics, make some announcements, and also reserve a spot for our customary kudos at the end of the meeting.

We improved considerably the nature of talent acquisition and enriched the relationships with employees by better understanding their unique roles. We work with vision and strategy and keep on repeating it to reach a new goal each month. And that’s fairly important in its own right.

  • The trends in Adent continued to get ahead towards success in the sales and marketing in the monsoon season.
  • We could clearly notice the improvements in terms of total number of users and new users as well.
  • The referral, organic, and the traffic from Quora had their fair share in the overall traffic of the website.

Feedback and Improvements:

We keep on improving our products based on customer feedback and the inputs from our QA team, which had made it possible for us to stand a par in the market. When we get the feedback from the Q&A team, it really gives us inspiration, self-confidence, and excitement. The team is working day and night on many upcoming products and services. We have several new products and upgrades in the pipeline. We are right on the schedule and hopefully will release several new updates and in the upcoming month.

Target:

The team spirit in both the marketing and sales team is elevating day by day. All the team members share their professional high-points with the colleague sitting next to them or discuss in small meetings to achieve a better target for the next month. The targets have been functioning well since the past quarter, and are becoming even better in the market.

We aim for constant product enhancements and increased quality traffics for all of our products. We planned to strengthen the presence of existing and new customers and engage more with our new line ups. Moreover, the next month data will definitely show even better numbers on all the fronts.

Half a year is over. On the midst of the year in June, we finally experienced and convinced that we’ve been working on for weeks dedicatedly. The reflected work of each employee on the pathway of growth is really phenomenal through these days. When you look closer at the overview of two hours of all hands meeting at the boardroom, you’ll start to feel the objective. Let’s dive in to know!!!

We started the meeting with a welcome retreat to new hires and highlight accomplishments of last month followed by demonstrating the values of each employee. With the reinforcement of accountability, identification of the core competency, and articulating the vision, all employees provided their action plans for next month.

Marketing and Sales Accomplishment:

  • The positive aspects continue to go ahead with the remarkable marketing and sales in efforts in Adent.
  • Adent experienced an enormous improvement in the overall total users which has increased by 18.20%, total new user by 19.05%, total sessions by 14.40%.
  • The organic, direct, referral, Quora, Paid search, and Socials increased consistently and every channel has achieved improvements.
  • The sales department has almost reached its target and thus strengthening the value to the customer by providing better support.

As we know the spring is the season of activity and growth, our team members, managers, and senior leadership emphasized positive feedback and recognition on the ‘All Hands Meeting’ of April.

The days are getting warmer as summer comes and we are moving towards the objective of business review meeting to discuss individual and team scorecards and growth towards a specific goal.

The purpose of the meeting is to reinforce the accountability and the action plans for the next month, identify the core competency, recognizing and celebrating success. This time two newcomers presented their first presentation through articulating the organizational vision.

Marketing and Sales Accomplishments:

ShopyGen:

  • A feeling of excitement and enthusiasm continue to get ahead to success in the marketing of ShopyGen.
  • It has experienced an enormous improvement in marketing with a critical success factor.
  • The fortitudes of social media, referral, and organic traffic in Shopygen performed well as compared to last month.

Adent:

  • Adent has experienced an immense growth in the overall total users which is increased by 8.78%, total new users increased by 10.85%, and the total sessions increased by 8.98%.
  • It also experienced a remarkable growth in terms of the organic traffic which has increased immensely by 27.53%, the referral has increased at 12.03%.
  • The traffic has made a triple growth than the last year’s traffic and every channel has improved on a consistent basis.
  • The better marketing strategies allow the sales team an opportunity to highlight the ROI of the product and thus reinforcing the value to the customer.
  • Thus the sales department saw a substantial development in the base and customized products.

Pinlearn:

  • Pinlearn is steering at a fast pace in redefining the eLearning platforms into an uttermost level in the market.

Each review meeting in Instarama is simply indispensable. It takes a couple of hours in each month but keeps the team to speed up everything that’s going on. This also helps to plan and manage in a lean and effective way.

The feedback is the most effective way for us to continue to grow the company in the race of the ongoing process. We are constantly reviewing the processes and marketing strategies ensuring for a larger goal.

Customizations allow to maintain and improve the status of a product. This helps in demonstrating the customer experience by providing new features. With the continuous and spontaneous dedication of our team, we were able to upgrade StreamView 4.0 multiscreen login for TV App.

The customizations for StreamView and Tubenow have also done for multiple clients. We are in a transition phase to release the upgraded versions of different products in the next month expectantly.

ShopyGen has also launched its new product Genbnb: An Airbnb clone script which is going to be a pinnacle of strength in the market in the near future.

Targets:

We always start with the numbers and manage how we performed last month compared to our forecast. Thus, we set a target comparing this month’s achievement and fix a performance for the team for the upcoming month.

More importantly, we always review the underperforming product and set a line to perform it well. The team has set up a concrete set of goals and a pathway to achieve them.

All Hands Meeting Highlights [February 2019]

Every manager is obligated to held regular staff meetings. While some treat these meetings as just obligations, we at Instarama utilize this moment to analyze our progress, share thoughts, plan for next, and celebrate the accomplishments.

We held a similar meeting on 7th February 2019, which was full of participation, feedbacks, and celebrations for the accomplishments of our hard-working team. With full transparency, integrity, honesty and accountability, everyone gave their best to make this gathering successful.

Marketing and Sales Accomplishments

Gradually we have been now able to stabilize the traffic on Adent. The overall growth in all sources indicated that prospects are liking the product and searching about it. It was a massive improvement of 29.29% in the overall traffic, which also includes organic improvement by 21%, direct by 38%, and a massive boost of 325% in the social media referrals. The sign-ups have increased exponentially, and we have been getting inquiries through WhatsApp as well. Even affiliate partners are doing their jobs swiftly. Comparing the sales accomplishments, we saw a different trend this month. While there were more than expected sales for the base product, the customization requirements were slightly lower than the usual. Presumably, the recent version updates and new features are the reasons as most of the features are now inbuilt in the base products.

January was a mix for StreamHash. Where we could improve the organic and direct traffic to a colossal level, the paid search traffic was dropped by slight numbers. Thankfully, about 48% boost in the organic traffic, and a 22% increase in the direct numbers were enough to cover up for the lost stats in paid searches. We also felt a need to boost up our social media strategies for the StreamHash product. Considering the sales, it was satisfactory. Though it was not as good as the previous month, we learned there is a need to boost our social media referrals to attain those numbers. Finally, we a more strategic approach, we planned to improve our efforts to cross the barriers in the current month and after that.

We could see a divergent behavior by the ShopyGen project. Unlike StreamHash month, we could see a considerable boost in the organic, direct, and social media traffic of ShopyGen. Sadly, the Quora and Referral traffics were dropped by 4% and 30%. We learned that it requires a more aggressive strategy to draw quality traffic from assets like Quora and discussion forums. Though overall traffic was boosted by 27%, we still need to boost the paid traffic as eCommerce is way competitive than other domains. Opposite to Adent, ShopyGen received a good number of customization requests, which added to our targets despite getting average sales for the base products. I think, the coming month would be a great time for ShopyGen base products. The boosted traffic will eventually pay-out.

As per the infant products PushMaze and PinLearn are concerned, they are slowly stabilizing. PushMaze, in one hand improved by over 40% in organic, and 52% in direct traffic, PinLearn received a similar exposure as well. The website traffic for PinLearn was at its best in the past 6 months. I think the content marketing strategies are pay-out and more people are getting exposed to the product. With a strategy to boost the content marketing to the further levels, we could finally rest the marketing discussion keeping content as our major focus this month.

Customizations and upcoming products

With hard work and dedication of our development team, we were able to release the upgrades of StreamHash products. StreamView 4.0 (Android), StreamView 3.1(Website), StreamNow 4.0 (iOS), and Stable version of Android App for StreamTunes are all set for the release.   With all these, the customizations for StreamView are also going on for multiple clients. Optimistically, by the next month, we will also release the upgraded versions of the above products with StreamTunes Android upgrade, and website version stable release.

Targets

We are targeting on releasing the major version upgrades for most of the ShopyGen products, which includes all three website, Android, and iOS solutions. Hopefully, the long awaited LMS for PinLearn will also be released by the end of Feb. Moreover, few customizations are also going on for PushMaze, which we will analyze and consider adding to the base products if found being demanded by most of the clients.

Not just the version upgrades, but we are also focusing on rigorous testing of all the products once again. We have queued most of Adent and ShopyGen products for regular QA improvements. The upcoming month is going to be big in terms of new products release and version upgrades.

Star performer of the month is not just a title we give each month to one of our best employees. Instead, it is a recognition of the smart work, time-management, team-coordination and dedication one puts in his/her daily tasks. We consider a great number of things to evaluate our best of the best employees. Weighing all the factors, it was difficult to settle on a single name though. In fact, there were multiple contenders who equally deserved the title.

Srividya was a great contender for this recognition. She is one of those employees who have won this title multiple times. Srividya won the title unopposed. It’s all because of her highly professional approach towards her daily tasks, where see not only managed her own work but also helped others to complete their tasks on time.
